CFR are finally ready to celebrate the release of their first record, Love At First Fight, with a concert at Gamla on January 15! They will be supported by Adjust, a band who plays catchy and driven alternative rock.

Call For Riot have two new gigs coming up! On November 24 they will be playing at Buddy in Drammen, supported by local rock band Gaffateip, and on November 25 they will rock Skuret in Oslo together with Dopplear! Welcome! 

The process of making our debut album, Love At First Fight, has taken its time but it is very close to being finished, and it will be released on January 2011! Get a taste of the new record on either this site, MySpace, Urørt or Live City. We will also be posting upcoming gigs, so stay tuned!

Call For Riot are going to play at Hausmania on April 30. Feel free to come and rock! We will play together with Angstemblet and Freedom. Cover will be 50 Nok, and the doors opens 21.00. CFR are in the final stages of recording their first album (title of record has not yet been decided). We have now recorded the last three songs, to complement the other seven songs recorded in November 08. All that is left is mixing and mastering. So, as you can see there is still some work left, but we hope to release the album during fall 09. We are really excited about the process thus far, and we can’t wait for you guys to hear it. Hope you won’t mind waiting a little bit longer!

Første band ut på Ukjent 08 på Oslo Garage dag 2, var Call for riot. Et band jeg ikke hadde hørt skvatt av før konserten, men hadde fortsatt visse forventninger til dette Oslobandet. De begynte showet med “Fire inside”, en sang med fin futt og god følelse til seg. En gjennomført bra setliste med avslutningssangen “Social Pornography” som høydepunkt. Den siste sangen har en ganske bra punk/politisk vibe over seg med “This is a call for riot” som en fin allsangeffekt når det blir gjentatt flere ganger etter hverandre. For øvrig så tror jeg aldri at jeg har sett en kvinnelig trommeslager headbange så fælt bak skinna sine, har vel egentlig aldri sett en mannelig trommeslager headbange så fælt heller. Call for riot leverer en knallgod konsert som jeg vil tørre å si er et av festivalens høydepunkter i mine øyne.
